Over at gonintendo you can see the new thicker straps coming out for replacement when you break your strap. Nintendo really responded pretty well and quick on getting heavier straps since people are swinging the wiimote hard enough to break the previous strap. I’ve gotta wonder what the previous strap was rated at… I’ll bet it was fairly sturdy to begin with and people are just swinging obscenely hard (I’ve seen some people play ddr *twitch*) Still stalking a Wii personally, either strap will work fine for me… I don’t get that energetically into my video game experience.

Saw this quote and had to post it…
I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We’ve created life in our own image - Stephen Hawking
I tend towards libertarian leanings, each person being ultimately responsible for their own actions unless it infringes upon the rights of others. The less government regulates us the better off we are in my opinion.
That being said, this is an interesting article about the effects of cannabis and popular misinformation about it.
Personally, I’m for the legalization of all drugs… not because I use any of them, I don’t. I have no more desire to inhale pot into my lungs than I do to inhale cigarette smoke into my lungs. I have no more desire to get messed up on cocaine than I do to get drunk off my ass. I don’t drink or smoke because I don’t like to damage my body worse than need be and I don’t like to be that far out of control… and I feel largely the same way about drugs. I like to be in full control of me. However, I do think that the effect of legalizing the drugs would be less disastrous than our war on drugs and the current underground that exists because drugs are illegal. Anyways… peace.
Edit: Another interesting read, can be found here.
This is NSFW. Not remotely safe for work.
However, its very very funny.

This is a political satire, if you don’t like seeing W made fun of, don’t watch this…
I read an article that I thought was an interesting take on the whole feminist movement in general, especially when it comes to sex. I don’t know about some of the ideas suggested near the end but in general what she says I’ve found true in my experience with the opposite sex. Women are like men– sometimes they like quickies, sometimes they like it rough, sometimes they like it gentle, sometimes top, some bottom… sex can be and is generally an adventure… Why would women be any different than men in wanting some variety and spice?
